Refund
Policy Cancellation
prior to the commencement of classes: If the school does not accept the application
or cancels the enrollment, all fees paid except the application fee will be
fully refunded. If cancellation is requested in writing by the applicant,
parent or guardian three working days after signing the enrollment agreement,
all fees except the application fee will be refunded. Notice of cancellation
should be sent by registered mail with return receipt requested. The post
mark of the letter or telegram will determine the date of cancellation. Termination
or Withdrawal after the start of classes: Students may withdraw voluntarily
from our program at any time they choose. In this case, the student must submit
his intention to withdraw in writing by certified mail. Voluntary/involuntary
terminations after classes begin will result in the Virginia School of Pet
Grooming retaining a portion of the tuition. What percentage will be retained
will be determined by the number of weeks the student has attended. In all
cases, the application/enrollment fee is non-refundable. Virginia

A student who withdraws or is terminated during the first four weeks of the
course is entitled to a refund amounting to 75% of the tuition cost.* b.
A student who withdraws or is terminated during the second four weeks of the
course is entitled to a refund amounting to 50% of the tuition cost.* c.
A student who withdraws or is terminated after completing the third fourth week of the course will receive 25% of the tuition cost refunded. d.
A student who withdraws or is terminated into the final fourth weeks of the course will receive no refund back. e.
Expenses incurred by students for equipment, supplies, and enrollment fee
are not a part of the tuition and are non-refundable. Any outstanding charge
for items, such as additional equipment ordered by the student or cost incurred
during their time at the school, will be subtracted from the tuition refund
if not paid for at the time of withdrawal or termination. f. Withdrawal refunds are calculated from the first day after the seven day registration period to the day of receiving notification in writing of the withdrawal time or the last day of attended class. g. If the student improperly withdraws or is terminated, additional charges may result and be deducted from the balance of the refund. * See the student enrollment contract for details Student
Complaint Resolution If
a student has any reason any aspect of the courses offered at the Virginia
School of Pet Grooming , he is encouraged to set up an appointment with the
schools Director. A sincere effort will be made to resolve any and all
problems during this meeting. If,
after meeting with the Director, the student feels the problem has not been
resolved he is then encouraged to take his complaint to the State Council of Higher Education. The student may write to the following:
