All Breed Pet Grooming Career Program

Our objective is to prepare students for employment as pet groomers through classroom lectures and practical, hands on experience in grooming all recognized breeds and specialized training in scissoring techniques. We want to produce groomers who are capable, humane, knowledgeable, and professional.

Length of Programs

Our class time runs 660 hours, 16 weeks, Monday through Friday and every other Saturday. The course can be tailored to meet individual needs for start and end dates but the hours requirements must meet those approved by the State Council of Higher Education through which we have our Certificate to Operate.

Lecture hours are given with the practical work program as each topic arises. Any situations not able to be experienced directly will be covered separately via books, tapes and home study.
